'Kibudation'

Slang meaning pre-Shabbat Thursday afternoon 'party snacks' at the Amiel office. A lovely weekly event to recognize the great work of Amiel employees and keep the Amiel "family" informed about what's going on...our 'kibudation' was filled with lovely, tasty Israel fruits. 

'Instant Shabbat'

A major spread of beautifully prepared homemade foods, a popular Israeli experience for hard-working Israelis who have minimal time to cook (the line was practically out the door).

'Grocery Chutzpah'

An assertiveness that kicks into gear with the realization that the pre-Shabbat Israeli grocery store is extremely busy...so incredibly busy that if you don't call upon your 'grocery chutzpah,' you can get run down in the aisles and never make it to the cucumbers!
